Fall colors, kumihimo finished and work in progress.

Fall has settled into PA. The leaves are falling and everything is in full color slowly slipping away and getting ready for winter. This is a tree where I work at. I just love it. This day the sky was a beautiful pastel pink and blue a wonderful backdrop  to the red color of this tree.

The tree in my front yard is almost bare.

The start of a 16 braid. I found the directions at Weir Crafts here

I was surprised how easy this braid was to catch on to. And the results is very pretty.

This is the finished braid! I love the fall colors I chose. I used vintage embroidery floss. The braid is thin but strong and has a tiny bit of a shine to it. I want to add a pendent to this and end clasp to finish this off.

This is my finished snake necklace! The braid came out great and I found these snake ends on Ebay. The snake pendent was a piece I found at Walmart for .75 cents.

This bracelet is not finished. I love the colors on this one.

Next week I hope to have the necklace and bracelet finished and starting a new project. I just have to decide what I want to do yet.

Until later. Keep dreaming, crafting and living.
